Bouillon by Bouillon

The first comprehensive solo show will be performed in Frankrurt, Germany by Bouillon Group at basis from September 14 to October 14, 2018. 

The opening is on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 7 pm.

In their performances, the Georgian collective Bouillon Group reference the multifaceted culture of their home country as well as the reality of life in post-Soviet Georgia, often adopting a critical perspective when doing so. With their explicitly performative approach they focus on transcending the boundaries between life and art. It is particularly by drawing on regional traditions and transferring them artistically into new contexts that Bouillon Group reveals many historical and social levels of meaning. Alongside the video documentation of a selection of past projects, all three performances of the Social Aerobics trilogy will be presented live for the first time within the framework of the exhibition.
