CREATIVE ECONOMY IN GEORGIA - BASELINE STUDY OF KEY INDICATORS, CHARACTERISTICS AND NEEDS
The research report "Creative Economy in Georgia - Baseline Study of Key Indicators, Characteristics and Needs" is part of the large-scale project - "Creative Twist - Boosting the Cultural and Creative Industries in Georgia" initiated by Creative Georgia and supported by the UNESCO Fund for Cultural Diversity (IFCD).
The document combines the results of a first-ever full-scale, baseline research conducted in Georgia about the general state of the creative economy, needs, resources and development perspective. This study will form the basis of the medium-term state strategy for developing the creative economy and the corresponding action plan.
The research allows to analyze the sector as a whole, perceive its economic potential and highlight the needs. The document will serve as a basis for future sectoral research, as it includes the methodology tailored to the local environment/context and information related to statistical data gaps and needs.
