Creative Spark - the meeting of partners and policy development
British Council programme, Creative Spark: A Higher Education Enterprise Programme brought together representatives from the UK and all programme countries involved. The conference was held in Tbilisi, Georgia for the first time on 20-21 November to kick off their plans. Creative Spark is a five year initiative to support international university and institutional partnerships to develop enterprise skills and creative economy across seven countries in Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan), South Caucasus (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia) and Ukraine through UK support. In order to support higher education reform and respond to unemployment rates in these seven countries, we will use the UK’s experience to help develop enterprise education. This way we will support over 10,000 students and young entrepreneurs in the first year of the programme.
On 20-21 November, an event of Creative Spark was held at the Rooms Hotel, where the winner organizations of the grant programme were presented. Within the framework of the event meetings were held among the partners who worked on the future plans of programme implementation.
