“Erosi – 100” – A Jubilee Evening Dedicated to Erosi Manjgaladze Took Place!

In 2025, the outstanding Georgian actor and sports commentator Erosi Manjgaladze would have turned 100. To mark this significant anniversary, a jubilee evening was held in Kutaisi, at the Lado Meskhishvili Professional State Drama Theatre.

During the event, speakers reflected on Erosi Manjgaladze’s life and artistic career. Participants recalled the roles performed by the People’s Artist of Georgia, known for his unique and refined artistry, and paid tribute to his memory. At the same time, the audience watched episodes from Manjgaladze’s memoirs on the big screen. The evening was enriched with musical and choreographic performances.

The concert was hosted by theatre critic Nikoloz Tsulukidze. Participants included: Murman Jinoria, Nana Pachuasvhili, Nanuli Sarajishvili, Marina Kakhiani, Zurab Qipshidze, Neka Sebiskveradze, “Our Quartet”, “Academy of Song” (conductor: Manuchar Kobakhidze).

The event was directed by Tinatin Kordzadze, with Ana Ninua as Artistic Director, Davit Tavdazde as Composer, Gigi Loria as Choreographer, and Gvantsa Meparishvili as Video Director.
